      Hi Albert,

      Solar radiation just means electromagnetic radiation from the sun (that’s what solar means). So we are constantly surrounded by solar radiation (much less at night). Indeed the sun does not just radiate in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum, it also emits in the UV, infra-red and x-ray. It may radiate at other frequencies aswell, I’m not so sure on that.
