• Question: When you went swimming with sea-turtles, what was it like?

      Swimming with sea turtles was an amazing experience. The sea turtles didn’t seem to mind too much – I guess they are used to humans swimming up to them in that particular part of the reef. They even let me scratch their shell – apparently they like it! 🙂
      It was clear though, that they were definitely the better swimmers! Once they got bored of me they just swam off to find another bit of seaweed to munch on and left me floundering around with my flippers.

    Hello there Chocorainbows and Charli,
    I saw your question and had to read Charli’s answer! I have also swum with sea turtles, but I didn’t mean to! I was snorkelling and didn’t know they were there until they came towards me. I was a little bit scared to be honest! They look very big under the water. Luckily they weren’t that bothered by me though. They were quite happy to let me float next to them as they swam around. It was very cool to see them.
