      Hi Welly198,

ha ha no, I haven’t worked in McDonalds 🙂
      But I HAVE worked in:

      Pizza Hut (awful!)
      TGI Fridays (brilliant!)
      Wetherspoons pubs (pretty good)
Boots the Chemist (I have to be nice because my dad was the boss!)

I actually quite enjoyed all my part-time jobs because it was fun meeting new people and even more fun getting paid!!

      Hi Welly198,

No I haven’t worked in McDonalds! I don’t think I would be very good in McDonalds – I once worked in a pub kitchen where we cooked a lot of chips and at first it smelt yummy but after a day of working there the smell of hot fat just made me feel sick :S Also I’m a vegetarian, so if someone ordered a burger I’d probably try to persuade them to get a veggie burger instead!

I haven’t but a couple of people I know have. From what I hear it’s actually an alright job.

      Hey welly,

Ha no I haven’t worked at McDonalds either. I worked at Pizza Hut too, Charli. It wasn’t the best job for me either – overworked and underpayed. I suspect McDonalds would not be too different.

Did you know that McDonalds will refuse to serve you at the drive-thru if you are on a mountain bike!?

      Hi Welly,
I haven’t ever worked in McDonalds, no.

I have worked in Halfords (I learnt a lot about cars!), in Gap the clothes shop, in Millets the camping shop, in pubs, as a cleaner, in factories and in a scuba diving shop!

I think its good to get lots of experience of working, in lots of different places. I got a job when I was 16 when I was still at school so I could save up for university but I mostly spent all my money buying CDs and going to see my favourite bands play.
