      There are loads of bacteria in water. There are quite a few scientists trying to find them all. It’s kind of like Pokemon! There are millions of different species (species is a word used to group living things) of bacteria in water and there might be some with some special abilities which could be useful.

      There are microbes in most places, from the coldest parts of the north pole to the deepest depths of the ocean! Life is pretty good at surviving even in really bad conditions.
